This is as much a group experience as it is a solo one. To help us get underneath everything that keeps us from who we are at our core. We embrace the depths of our lives to remember the aliveness that fosters the world you believe in.

We gather in honor of giving way for our humanity. We are faced with the unachievable pressures of assuming perfection in the realms of work and finances, emotions, parenting, and in relationship. Trying to embrace the "perfect" form of what it means to be a human only enables a broken system.

Here we learn to welcome our fallibilities, our shame, our mistakes, our grief, our shadows, and so on... while celebrating in our victories. We turn towards our whole system that gives us the ability to inhabit our authenticity, rather than deny it.

This breath practice is used as a way to move through an experience together and overcome challenges, to strengthen and deepen the ties of community.

This practice has been adapted specifically to inspire a strength within us to create and hold a container for the softness within our hearts. We believe the truth of a healthy warrior lies in his ability to deeply feel and experience suffering as well as the beauty in life, therefore being crystal clear on what you stand for. The practice build one's capacity to hold emotion in the body.

This is a practice that gets underneath everything keeping you from yourself. We use breath, poetry, and each other to move through what we usually avoid. You'll leave lighter than you arrived.

To get more out of the breathwork practice it is recommended to not eat at least an hour and a half beforehand. Food is welcome during our integration circle. If you have asthma, heart conditions, or are pregnant, please reach out before registering.

Your Guide:

Banks Anderson is a human man who found this work through his own rock bottom, with nowhere to turn and no map for what he was carrying.

That search led him to becoming trauma and attachment informed, and eventually to founding a men's movement in the Appalachian mountains of Western North Carolina.

He brings vulnerability and strength in equal measure. Creating space for people to descend into their depths and return with their true nature intact. His work takes men from asking questions like, "am I enough?" to "how are the children?". So you can boldly walk the path that is yours and meet life with reverence.

IMPORTANT: Please arrive on time! Doors close at 15 minutes after event start time. Bring a cushion to sit on.
